PARKLAND HIGH SCHOOL

OUR STORY

At Parkland High School our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students for real careers in fields like Business, Health Science, Architecture, Law Enforcement, Graphic Design and Illustration and more — through hands-on learning and our Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) like FBLA, SkillsUSA and TSA.

These organizations give students opportunities to compete, network with industry professionals, and build the leadership and technical skills that translate directly into college and career readiness. But recent district and campus budget cuts have made it increasingly difficult for our students to afford membership fees and travel to regional, state, and national competitions — opportunities that often make the difference in a student's confidence and career trajectory.

This matching funds campaign will directly support CTE students by covering CTSO membership dues and travel expenses for competitions and conferences. If we reach our $3,000 matching goal, these funds will ensure that every student — regardless of financial circumstance — has the chance to represent our campus, compete at the highest levels, and gain experiences that open doors to scholarships, internships, and future employment.

Your support helps us keep these opportunities alive for students who have already shown the drive to succeed — they just need the resources to get there.
