Our fundraising initiative will support the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA), which is celebrating 10 years of preparing young women for college and career success. Funds raised will support our To and Through College Program, which serves all 332 YWLA students in grades 6–12. The program provides students with one-on-one college guidance and advising, test preparation, application and scholarship support, and other resources to help them successfully transition to and through college.
If we achieve the $3,000 matching goal, the funds will help provide academic and college-readiness resources directly to students, including test-preparation materials, college application support, and guidance as students plan for life after high school. This investment will help ensure that every YWLA student has the support and resources needed to reach her college goals.
